Course Content

Analysis of the definition of:

  • Identification of the different forms of hazards in the work environment
  • Processes and methods of assessing identified risks and risk ranking.
  • Design templates for recording hazards and risks.
  • Empowering and multi-skilling the learner with skills to be able to recognise identify all forms of hazards in the workplace and be able to come up with vigorous interventions to manage various risks.

Course Objectives/Aims

  • Employees will be able to recognise and identify hazards in the workplace
  • Identify responsibilities of both the employer and employee and will have the knowledge on the functions of SHE representatives
  • Outline factors that contribute to accidents/incidents
  • Report all the various hazards in the workplace
  • Make recommendations to reduce risks in the office environment
  • Implement legislated requirements
